What is Wealth? Ah, the mysterious wealth that has popped up around the site. We know what you're thinking - "How do I get the green stuff so I can buy some stuff?" The money may not be real (in fact, it's completely opposite of real) but it does still serve a purpose. By commenting on videos, pictures, games, and other content on the site (even blogs), you get a dollar. As your wealth increases, you can cash in on things that are yet to be announced. Matter of fact, they won't be announced until someone qualifies. We're not sure of the exact breakdown, but we'll probably have things such as FreakNFunny t-shirts, games, and who knows - maybe even your own private island in the Caribbean! So, as you comment and participate in the community, you get dollars. Progress up the ladder and you'll become respected as one of the most active members on the site and you'll be rewarded with, well, rewards. If you have any suggestions in this area, feel free to send them in as we're still planning and brainstorming. We do intend on releasing features that you have to "unlock" with points in order to get them. You know, sort of like a video game. Send us your thoughts. |
